We want everyone to be able to use the Purchase Portal website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, or voice control.
Our goal
We design and build this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we do
- Use page landmarks, headings in order, and a link to skip to the main content.
- Make every feature work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Write a text description for every product screenshot.
- Meet WCAG contrast minimums for text and controls.
- Label every form field, mark optional fields, and announce errors.
- Turn off animation when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
Product screenshots are pictures of the application, so you can't select or zoom their text the way you can with page text. Each one has a written description.
